Challenge: Face It Or Fear It.

One thing we all have in common is that we all experience fear. Now I am not talking about intuitive fears designed to keep us safe, such as being afraid of a bear in the wild—but instead, the fear of something new, of change, of vulnerability, of the unknown.
While experiencing fear is simply part of the human condition, we must decide if we will face our fears—or let our fears place limitations on our lives.
So yes, we all have fears—but it is how we respond to them that makes all the difference!
When Did We Lose Our Childlike Fearlessness?
We can all learn from children because they are fearless. They don’t waste their time worrying about how things could go wrong, or how hard it will be to learn something new—they go all in with everything they have.
Consider how many times children fall before they learn to walk—fearless!
Consider how freely children share their love, hugs and kisses—fearless!
Consider how easily children make new friends. They walk right up to someone new, and immediately start to play—fearless!
Consider how so much of what children learn and see in their first 5 years of life is brand new, yet they go into each new experience open and ready to give it a try—fearless!
Are You Trapped In Comfort?
If you really take a close look at how the things you fear most are affecting your day-to-day life, you may be surprised to learn that you would rather be unhappy and unfulfilled in the comfort of what you know, rather than to risk the potential for happiness and greatness that can be achieved by facing your fears.
But do you really want to spend the rest of your life trapped in the comfort
of what you already know?
Instead of spending your time day dreaming about the life, the love, the success and the happiness you desire as though they are only a dream—why not devise a plan to face your fears and change your life?
What Does It Mean To Be Alive?
Have you ever considered what it means to be alive? Yes, you are breathing, so you are alive—right?
But breathing does not go hand-in-hand with taking action.
Or with living your life to the fullest.
Or with living and growing.

There is a popular saying, “get comfortable being uncomfortable.” While facing your fears will certainly be uncomfortable, the temporary lack of comfort is the only thing that will bring you to what you truly desire.
In fact, as “comfortable” as you may think you are in not facing your fears—if you are honest with yourself, you will find that the worry and unsettling feeling of being unfulfilled isn’t nearly as comfortable as you would like to believe.
Familiar maybe, but not comfortable.
Oh, The Possibilities
While you may never lose your fear of the unknown, you can choose to use your fear as a catalyst for change—instead of as a roadblock to the life you desire.
